Our Lowchen We fell in love with the Löwchen in the late 1980's when first Ardgowan Crackerjack (Imp NZ) (Jack) and later Paceaway Larapanta (Misty) came to live with us, followed soon after by Lyoncourt Lancelot (Ben) . We showed both boys to their titles and Ben and Misty produced a lovely litter which included the Best In Show (All Breeds) winner Ch Rondaglen Sir Galahad (Gizmo) owned and handled by Charmaine Tucker in Queensland and Ch Rondaglen Lady Othe Lake (Lulu). Lulu was shown with some success by Nicole Timmerman here in Victoria. Gizmo, while used sparingly at stud, produced both Australian and overseas champions with two of his well known Australian offspring being Aust & NZ Ch Paceaway Ronaldo and Aust Gr Ch Chinaroad Flying Colours. We are proud to say that Gizmo has had some influence in these and others' successes. Ch Lyoncourt Lancelot also sired Ch Paceaway Gremlin (Spike) whom we owned and showed in partnership with his breeder until he went home for stud duties in Queensland. At that time, we had a short break from showing until Paceaway Satine (Cricket) joined us at Bunyip. Cricket is closely linebred to both Spike and Gizmo, taking us back to our founding lines. Thus we were able to continue our breeding programme by incorporating UK bloodlines through Ch Bigglesmere Just 'N Fashion and his son Aust Gr Ch Tilcha Just Show Stopper, Ch Teejay Wizard Of Oz (Imp UK) through his son Ch Tilcha Thorpedo and now adding top Swedish lines through Ch Lowenhart Jujujumpjet, and, most recently, Ch Bigglesmere's Ringo Star (Imp UK).
These are some of our Löwchen, many of which have made their homes with us, others we have bred and are living with loving owners.
